New Look and New out look of life!

Hello everyone.

Been a long time since I have posted.  Now that it is almost spring... Even though it doesn't look like it in some places.  Here in Ottawa Canada we still have lots of snow and we are suppose to get more tomorrow.  I really hope not.
Anyway, today is my Birthday got a new hair cut and if feel A LOT better.  The winter weather after Christmas always wears me down.  I am a Spring person and I always will be... even though I have allergies in the spring. I will not let that get me down.  Love the warm weather and everything in bloom.  Yes its really messy this time of year but WHO CARES!  Its Spring!
 Here is a poem that I just wrote and I hope everyone enjoys.  I am still working on the story that I told you about I might have it posted sometime soon.  At least some of the beginning of it.

Spring
Lying on the ground looking at the clouds.
Feeling the warmth of the sun.
Listening to the birds chirp in the trees.
Animals romping in the fields.
They are all Twitterpated.
Trying to find their mate to have their fun with.
At last after a long winter.  
Spring is finally here.

I hope that brings everyone's hope up.  Spring is right around the corner.  It is short and sweet.  I not sure of the spelling of twitterpated.  I know the word from the Disney movie Bambi but I don't know how it was spelt.  So if anyone does and I will change it.

Writing

Found this on the Fantasy type of page on Facebook.  It is NOT mine.

As I mentioned that I really enjoy writing.
When I think about writing stories they get so big.  I keep thinking of making a series with pretty much everything that I love to read about from as small as faeries to as large as dragons and everything in between.
This story I have been thinking about since maybe seven years ago.
It really just started with the basics of a king falling ill and his son and daughter that really didn't see eye to eye.  The daughter craves power and will do ANYTHING to get it.  On the other hand there is the son that really doesn't care about it and enjoys the life outside in the wood where he hunts, spars with his best friend.
That is where it started then not to long ago I thought that I should build this world around them adding Gods, monsters, animals, different types of human kind. Then I started adding all of the history how the world came to be where everyone came from myths and legends.  Then came the prophecy with the fire baring sister and the earth loving brother.  Which I haven't really worded that one yet.  Magick also has a place in the world which only a few of the people are able to use it and if it is use to much it will cause the opposite effect of what you are trying to do.
Then I noticed that this is getting really big.
I still want to keep going on this and seeing where this leads.
I have never published anything a day in my life so right now I don't know the process of getting that done.
But hey the speed that I am doing this at it still might be years until I really get this done.  If I do at all.

Tribute to a well loved kitty

Good Evening all.

As some of you might have found out on this passed Boxing Day that we lost one of our cats.
She was 16 1/2 years old and she was pretty much wasting away poor girl.

Here is a tribute to her that I wrote a couple of days later.

A light that formed in my mind. For my mind can not see. A light so bright I have to shield my minds eye in a way that I can't explain. 

 When this light dimmed and I can look around again there stood a large tree in front of me. 

The tree of life. 

 It held everything that was held in humankind's mind. Everything that we think of we see and touch. As I stared that the branches of the tree I see animals of all shapes and sizes. And there on the lowest branch lay a cat that seemed so content on it's perch. It had brown and black stripes, and with green eyes that watching anything the moved.

It raised it's head up and looked down at me. She seemed very frail as I first set my eyes upon her. It seem to know me. Looking straight into my eyes. She seemed to be telling me something with her eyes. 

 “Do not fear of the time after death, for it is very nice and we are well taken care of here. I do hear your thoughts and the thoughts of all that think of me. I did enjoy the time that I had with all of you. I speak to you for you have ways to connect with us here in this next life, but please tell my two favourite people at home that I am safe and happy, and thank you for trying to make me as comfortable is you guys possibly could.”

As she finished her form slowly changed and she looked younger then she was. Maybe three years old. I smile up at her and say out loud, “thank you Emma for connecting with me. I will give them you're message and we all miss you very dearly.” Jumped down from her perch she rubbed against my leg then ran off into the distance and just as she was just about to disappear I noticed that she saw a butterfly flying around. She started to play like a little kitten and left my sight. I smile and giggle to myself. She is Happy here.

Passed away December 26^th 2013.

She is well loved and missed.

Clean Slate

Hello All!

I am back.  I'm still working on what I want to do for this blog, but I think I might have an idea for it now. First off I think I am going to do posts 1 to about 3 times a week. Depends on my mind set and my imagination.  As you can probably tell with the look at the site now I am thinking more fantasy right now.  I am not going to put a lot of Japanese things up any more, because really that's not what Magical Mind means at all.  So what I am more thinking is what ever I put on paper it's going to be put on the site.
Such as my drawings, poems, stories, and maybe just whatever comes to my head.  I will also put the occasional music video from youtube.

So that is pretty much what to expect from future posts right now.

Not sure what to do...

Hello all.
Okay even though I haven't been on Bloggers for very long I am loosing enthusiasm to keep it going.  I would like your thoughts.  Any thoughts for that matter to keep it going for longer.  I do... well did Japanese word of the day and fact of the day, but with me putting a hold on the blog for a week while I didn't have my computer, and now I haven't been able to get back into it right now.  Lets just say I think I have writer's block that is why I only put videos on it.  I enjoyed putting them up but the one I thought was most fun was the post of our kitties here.   I really got into it at the beginning while putting a post on everyday.  Now with being at a job a lot of the time and being in front of a computer all day.  I don't really want to be in front of it at home.
Anyway this is my thoughts on it at the moment.  I don't think I will close it until the new year if I don't figure a way to get my muse back for it.

Getting in the Spirit early

With all the Snow that we have here in Ottawa I am actually getting into the Christmas Spirit early.
When I worked in food or retail in the past, as soon as Halloween finished and out came the Christmas decorations.  It bugged the hell out of me.  Especially when working in the Mall all you see is the decorations and they have Christmas music going  from opening to closing.  Now a days its not to bad because I go to those places when I want to and not when I have to work or anything.

I am also looking forward to spending some of December in Southern Ontario with my parents.  I am leaving next week early in the morning.
Anyway for some people that want to get into the spirit here is a clip of one of my favourite Christmas Movies.

I have to say this movie is in my top 10 favourites Christmas movies.

Everything is thrown off...

Good Morning all.
Wow it's been such a busy week so far.  I know we are in the weekend, but we have some company coming for tomorrow and we need to get the house ready.  At least the downstairs part.  There is never an ending to the cleaning we need to do.
I just wanted to say that yes I am still around, and I will post every now and then.  If I work I don't want to be in front of a computer while I am home, and I worked all week.
I know that today is normally the Japanese word of the day, but since I haven't been around all week I am going to put on something different.
Here is a sound that helps get me going if I don't have to much energy in the morning.
